If you went past the Town Common last Saturday, you would have seen Reading’s second beer garden of the year. With temperatures once again creeping close to 100º, the town had sprinklers setup for the kids and Capn’ Funk’n Berry for the adults via Winter Hill Brewing Company.
Music for the event was provided by JukeBox Events. Food and drinks this time around were brought to you by Scott Brothers, Half & Half, Empower, Pizza World and Cupcake City. Phil Stewart and Jeanne Borawski, of the Reading Rotary Club, were also on hand updating the Town on the Fall Street Faire slated for September 11th from Noon-5PM.
So whats next for Reading after the Street Faire? There’s one more beer garden scheduled for October 1st. Then the grand finale, Oktoberfest, on October 22nd with multiple breweries booked. If your into pretzels and ciders this time around in addition to beer, we’ll see you then!
