Reading Public Library (RPL), Reading, MA— Whether you are a kid, a teen, or an adult, we’ve got a summer reading program for you! This year’s program is called Find Your Voice and it all begins on Tuesday, June 20 at 9:00 am. Summer reading has loads of activities, the opportunity to write and share book reviews, and the chance to win prizes. Need help deciding what to read? We’ve got book lists to inspire and delight. Don’t worry, you can start participating at any point during the summer—just be sure to log your final time by 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 12 to participate in any raffle prize drawings.
We hope Find Your Voice will encourage you to express yourself, learn new things, spend time with stories, and visit the library this summer.
Find Your Voice—Children’s Summer Reading:
Just for children from birth through Grade 6. Stop by the Children’s Room on or after June 20 to pick up your Find Your Voice scratch-off booklet. As you go through the summer, scratch off and complete activities to earn prizes!
Find Your Voice—Teen Summer Reading
This summer, Find Your Voice by attending programs, writing book reviews, and voting for your favorite book from the Mass Teen Choice Book Award nominees. The more you participate, the more prize raffle tickets you can earn!

Hey Adults! We know you’re busy, so we’ll keep it simple. Read for a chance to win a free book! To participate, you may fill out a form online or at the Research & Reader Services Desk to enter into a raffle! Winners will be drawn on July 7, July 28, and August 11. And don’t miss our Kickoff Event — Summer Sizzlers Booktalks — featuring a cash bar full of mocktails sponsored by the Friends of the Reading Public Library.
