via the RPD – The Reading Police Department will be conducting a HELMET INCENTIVE PROGRAM again this summer, we are so happy to be back and we are so thankful for our local businesses for their generous donations!
Starting this week, The Reading Police Patrol Units will be handing out “CITATIONS” for a free ice cream or a free slice of pizza to children who remember that SAFETY comes first and are wearing a helmet while riding their bicycles, scooters and skateboards!
REMEMBER! You have to get CAUGHT wearing your helmet and only a few Patrol Officers will have these citations, so don’t run up to any cruisers, they will come to you! SAFETY FIRST!
