Today, Saturday November 4th, is Household Hazardous Waste Day. From 8:30 am – 12:30 pm at Wakefield Memorial High School, 60 Farm Street. TV’s and CRT’s are not collected at this event. Leave at home:
- Asbestos, ammunition, pharmaceuticals
- biologically active, radioactive, or explosive materials
- latex paint (let dry and put out with weekly trash pickup)
- lithium batteries
- garbage (will be taken during regular weekly trash pickup)
- septage (must be removed by a licensed hauler)
