Town Clerk Laura Gemme has provided a fourth update for all of the open seats in the March 5, 2024 local election, which is combined this year with the Presidential Primary. We will provide updates every Thursday until the ballot is finalized as nomination papers are not official until returned and certified by the Town Clerk and Board of Registrars. The last day to pull papers is January 12, 2024 by 5PM and all must be returned by January 16th.

The incumbent for the single seat on the Select Board, Christopher Haley, returned his nomination papers last Thursday for certification. From the School Committee, newcomer Dana Guarino of Holly Road still has his nomination papers outstanding as well as incumbent Shawn Brandt. Incumbent Sarah McLaughlin pulled papers last week and returned them yesterday for certification. From the RMLD Board of Commissioners, current Climate Committee member Ray Porter and Pamela Daskalakis both have their nomination papers out. Incumbent Marlena Bita has not yet taken out papers.
Wrapping things up with the The Board of Library Trustees with incumbent Andrew Grimes still has his nomination papers outstanding as well as newcomer Andrew Gregory of Pleasant Street. Incumbent Monique Gnanaratnam has not yet taken out papers. Alan Foulds, the incumbent for Town Moderator has pulled and returned his paperwork
Town meeting had 17 papers pulled since the last update, 11 of which were non incumbents.
