via RCTV – To help inform Reading residents about the upcoming 2024 local election on March 5, RCTV Studios will host Candidates’ Forums for contested town-wide offices.
Candidates for Select Board Chris Haley and Tara Gregory will participate in a forum on Thursday, February 22, at 7:30 pm. That re-upload of their recording can be found here. The forum for School Committee Candidates Shawn Brandt, Sarah McLaughlin, and Dana Guarino will be on Monday, February 26, at 7:30 pm.
Town Moderator Alan Foulds will moderate the forums, featuring questions posed to the candidates by local media representatives from The Reading Chronicle and The Reading Post. The forums will air live on RCTV’s public access channel, Comcast channel 9, 2131 HD, and Verizon channel 31, and will be replayed numerous times before the local election on March 5. No audience seating will be available in person.
Live Election coverage and results will air on election evening on Tuesday, March 5, starting at 8 pm.
