via the Town of Reading – Detour at 18 Woburn Street (Entering the Upper Municipal Lot) on Thursday, May 9, 2024 between 1:00-3:00pm
In relation to the nearly completed 18 Woburn Street project, there is a necessary aboveground standpipe test that the Reading Fire Department and the building owners must conduct together on Thursday, May 9th. This work will require police details and partial closing of Woburn Street (from Sanborn Street to the Upper Municipal Parking Lot Entry as indicated on the graphic).
During the test, the Woburn Street entry to the lot will remain open, but those travelling up Woburn Street from the Depot to the lot would need to detour around towards the other side of Woburn/Main to the entry. It is expected that the work will take about 2 hours, conducted from roughly 1:00-3:00pm. Thank you for your patience and attention!
