Learn how to assist and support older adults who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge by getting certified in an evidence-based, early intervention training program. 3) GET CERTIFIED IN YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID
The Reading Coalition for Prevention & Support will teach adults how to help young people that are experiencing mental health challenges or crises. Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches adults how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18. Join us on Tuesdays Nov. 12, 19, 26 and Dec. 3 from 6-8 pm. Participants must attend all sessions to become certified.
