via the Reading Police Department – This is a reminder for everyone in the Town of Reading that today, August 28th, is the first day of school! It is important to prioritize safety and be especially cautious around school zones. Slowing down, obeying bus signals, and being patient can make a big difference for students, parents, and school staff. We will have an increased police presence to help ensure everything runs smoothly, so let’s all do our part to make the first day of school a safe and positive experience for everyone!
