READING — Chief David Clark reports that the Reading Police Department has arrested a 27-year-old male in connection with a stabbing early Tuesday morning.
CHRISTIAN ALEXANDER, AGE 27, OF READING, was arrested and charged with:
- Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
- Armed Assault with Intent to Murder on a Person Over 60
On Tuesday, Sept. 24, at approximately 12:13 a.m., Reading Police and first responders were called to a home on Bond Street for a report of a stabbing.
Two adults, a male and a female, suffered serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
An initial on-scene investigation identified the suspect as ALEXANDER, who had run from the scene.
ALEXANDER was located and captured in the area about 3 a.m., with assistance from police in North Reading, Wilmington, and the Woburn Police Drone Unit.
Investigators have determined that all parties involved in this incident were known to each other, and there is no danger to the general public.
ALEXANDER was arraigned Tuesday in Woburn District Court, where he was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing that is scheduled for Sept. 27.
