Public Comment Period is Open December 2nd to December 20th, 2024
Reading welcomes all community members to provide feedback on this draft of the Town’s first-ever Net Zero Action Plan (NZAP). The NZAP will outline the strategies and actions necessary to reduce the Town’s greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050, as required by law, making Reading a healthier and more sustainable place to live. This draft is the result of a year-long planning effort which included a series of community and stakeholder engagements and a community-wide greenhouse gas inventory.
The public comment period will be open from December 2nd to December 20th, 2024. Please note that this is not the full Plan—only the strategies and actions section. The complete Plan will be released early next year. In the meantime, please read the draft below and share your feedback in the feedback form.
