Town Clerk Laura Gemme has provided her sixth update for all of the open seats in the April 8, 2025 local election. We will provide updates every week until the ballot is finalized as nomination papers are not official until returned and certified by the Town Clerk and Board of Registrars. The last day to pull papers is February 18, 2025 by 5PM and all must be returned by February 18, 2025 by 5PM.
Starting off with the Select Board, Melissa Murphy‘s paperwork is outstanding. Mark Dockser previously noted that he intends not to seek re-election. Karen Rose-Gillis of Linden Street had her papers certified on this week. Anthony D’Arezzo had his paperwork previously certified. From the School Committee, incumbent Tom Wise had his papers certified this week. Charles Robinson indicated at a recent School Committee meeting that he is not seeking re-election. Lara Durgavich‘s are still outstanding as well as Dana Guarino’s. From the RMLD Board of Commissioners, David Talbot re-election papers are outstanding along with Adam Swanson.
Wrapping things up with the The Board of Library Trustees with Kelli Bacon‘s papers outstanding with incumbent Patrick Egan returning his. As for the Moderator position, Alan Folds returned and had his papers certified earlier in the year.
