Town Clerk Laura Gemme has provided her seventh update for all of the open seats in the April 8, 2025 local election. We will provide updates every week until the ballot is finalized as nomination papers are not official until returned and certified by the Town Clerk and Board of Registrars. The last day to pull papers is February 18, 2025 by 5PM and all must be returned by February 18, 2025 by 5PM.
Starting off with the Select Board, newcomer Christopher Cook pulled his nomination papers on Monday. Melissa Murphy‘s returned her paperwork this week for certification. Karen Rose-Gillis of Linden Street had her papers certified on last week. Anthony D’Arezzo had his paperwork previously certified. From the School Committee, incumbent Tom Wise had his papers certified last week. Lara Durgavich‘s turned hers in this week as well as Dana Guarino. From the RMLD Board of Commissioners, David Talbot turned in his re-election papers this week along with Adam Swanson.
Wrapping things up with the The Board of Library Trustees with Kelli Bacon‘s being returned this week and incumbent Patrick Egan returning his last week. As for the Moderator position, Alan Folds returned and had his papers certified earlier in the year.
