Town Clerk Laura Gemme has provided her final update, pending any withdrawals, for all of the open seats in the April 8, 2025 local election. Nomination papers are now official and certified by the Town Clerk and Board of Registrars. The last day for a candidate to withdraw their name from the ballot is March 6th by 5pm.
Starting off with the Select Board, incumbent Melissa Murphy, Christopher Cook, Anthony D’Arezzo, and Karen Rose-Gillis have been certified on the ballot (2 seats available). From the School Committee, incumbent Tom Wise, Lara Durgavich and Dana Guarino have been certified (2 seats available). From the RMLD Board of Commissioners, David Talbot and Adam Swanson have been certified (2 seats available).
Wrapping things up with the The Board of Library Trustees with incumbent Patrick Egan and Kelli Bacon being certified (2 seats available). As for the Moderator position, Alan Folds was certified earlier in the year (1 seat available).
