We have known Tom since our oldest children were in kindergarten (2010) and had the opportunity to collaborate when I served on the JE PTO. Throughout this time, Tom has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to the success of our students and schools. His unwavering focus has always been on ensuring that our students are given the best opportunities for growth and success and that our schools are equipped to meet the needs of every child.
Tom has a long history of service to both the Reading public schools and our broader community. His dedication is evident in his roles as a School Committee Member, Town Meeting Member, JE Task Force participant, and Soccer Coordinator/Coach. Whether he is working behind the scenes or on the front lines, Tom is always seeking ways to make a meaningful impact.
One of Tom’s key qualities is his ability to set clear goals, analyze complex issues with careful thought, and develop effective strategies to drive progress. He considers all variables and incorporates contingencies, ensuring that the outcome is not only successful but also sustainable.
He’s the kind of leader who doesn’t just talk about change — he makes it happen with precision and purpose.
Tom is a true asset to our community, and we feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work alongside him.
