The following is an important message from the Reading Public Schools.
Dear RPS Community,
We are reaching out to share that we are planning for a normal school day tomorrow in RPS. We have been following various forecasts to determine the impact of the upcoming snowstorm on our community. We are consistently seeing that the storm will begin with rain tomorrow morning and it will continue raining throughout the morning commute. There is a high level of uncertainty on what time the rain will transition to snow, which will impact the amount of snow we see in Reading. The current projection is that this transition from rain to snow will happen in the early afternoon. Due to this uncertainty, we will email the community tomorrow morning around 5:30am with any additional updates. While we are planning for the normal school day, we will be prepared to shift to a two-hour early dismissal if necessary.
As always, let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Best,
RPS Central Office
