Public Kitchen officially opened it’s doors at their latest Reading location today. After creating a following in Wakefield for the past 5+ years, owners Michelle and Scott decided to add a second location in Reading earlier this year. After taking over the former Biltmore & Main location, Scott spent the past 3 months tirelessly renovating the building and parking lot.
We stopped by earlier today to see if the food was as incredible as their Wakefield location and boy was it ever. Pictured here is the Banh Mi short rib which is on a brioche roll with asian slaw, cucumber, pickled red onions, sriracha aioli and fries.
If drinks are more your speed, then you are in for a treat, especially if you like things spicy… The “El Diablo” (left) is made with house infused tequila, fresh lime and habanero bitters. The “5-3-0” (right) is made with vodka, pomegranate, fresh lime and hibiscus simple syrup.
Public Kitchen, located at 530 Main Street in Reading is open from 11:30am – 9:00pm, dine in only on a first come first serve basis. Phone take-out orders are planned after the new year.
