Paving Update

Please be advised that beginning on Thursday, August 11th, 2022 at 7:00 A.M., weather permitting, EJ Paving Corporation will be reclaiming (pulverizing and grading) the existing roadway pavement on Melbourne Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue (Fairview Avenue to Melbourne Avenue). The reclaiming operation is expected to take at least two (2) days to complete.
Delays, detours, and road closures should be expected. If you need your vehicle during this time, please be prepared for potential delays as construction is occurring. Also, all on-street parking will be prohibited and will be strictly enforced by the Reading Police Department.
If work is occurring on your scheduled trash day, please have your trash and recycling at the curb no later than 6:30 A.M. to ensure pickup.
